David Schmenger is a filmmaker who accompanies the VisAbility-Team during its research and pilot project in Sri Lanka.

His documentary focuses on the dynamic process of the project Making Ability Visible,  with particular regard to the interpersonal relationships and their development during the workshops.

In this sense he intends to draw a picture of the participants´ personalities and provides insights into their local and social background.

David studied film at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen (Germany). He lives and works in Cologne (Germany).
